What is your cannabis origin story?
I was 21 years old in a friend of a friend’s garage and a water pipe was passed around. Conversation and hearty giggles ensued and were then followed by the most incredible trip to Burger King. Never before had a Whopper, Strawberry Fanta, battered fries, and an Oreo shake been so satisfying.
What did you do before this and how did it prepare you for your role today?
Before this job, I worked as a cook, a mail carrier, and as an aquarist. All three of these jobs taught me to be organized, detail-oriented, and efficient.
What is your strain of choice?
Jilly Bean is definitely my favorite smelling strain. The smell reminds me of vanilla, freshly tilled soil, but I haven’t yet had the opportunity to try any of it.
What is your favorite edible?
My favorite type of edibles are drinkables, e.g. thc infused lemonade, but I am a big fan of any edible that contains THC along with auxiliary cannabinoids.
Favorite delivery method?
Edibles, I enjoy the anticipation followed by the gradual realization that I have arrived in a happy place.
What is the most interesting thing you’ve learned about cannabis recently?
That founding fathers including; Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, and George Washington cultivated and used hemp products.
What do you do for fun?
I enjoy going for bike rides, hiking, watching anime and cinema, traveling, finding new music, and gaming (both board and video.) I am currently enjoying making my way through the Harry Potter book series for the first time.
Do you have any hobbies or collections?
I have collections of hot sauces, Yu-gi-oh cards, retro video games, Absinthe, and minerals. My main hobby is gathering music for a mixtape I make every summer of the best music I've found throughout the previous year.
Where do you go to learn more about cannabis?
My main source of new cannabis knowledge is my co-workers, but I have purchased books that are helping me expand my cannabis cultivation knowledge.
What is the coolest new cannabis-related gadget you’ve seen recently?
Stone pipes, I was not aware of their existence.
What’s your favorite CAC product right now?
I found the 5mg Chroma mints to be very convenient.
What do you like most about working at CAC?
I like that I work with a group of very passionate, knowledgeable, relatable, and genuine people who consistently find ways to improve upon themselves and the product we produce.

What is the most interesting thing you’ve learned about cannabis recently?: I read an article recently that there are two FDA-approved medications that will contain cannabinoids in them. I’m not sure what they will be and how true it is but it was exciting to see the chemicals in the cannabis plant being recognized for the symptoms they can help treat.
What do you do for fun?: I like to paint and do artsy type stuff. It’s kind of a hidden talent I didn’t know until I was in college. I also like to play sports such as softball and basketball.
Where do you go to learn more about cannabis?: Usually online. I follow a lot of different social media accounts where I learn about new strains and what’s going on in the industry.
